In-Place Editing using the ASP.NET AJAX Editor Control

I may well use this later this year for a future phase of my current project. Essentially what I need is a read-only view for most, while a few administrators will see a button to switch to in-place editing mode, exactly like shown in this cool posting.

Pretty sweet technique, and quite simple. You could substitute your favourite WYSIWYG editor—Telerik RadEditor, FreeTextBox, Damn Small Rich Text Editor, etc—or go with the article’s suggested HTMLEditor control (part of the May 2009 and newer Ajax Control Toolkit release).
